Do’s and don’ts of good scooter care
Taking proper care of your scooter helps keep it running smoothly, safely, and reliably for years to come. A few simple habits can make a big difference to battery life, performance, and comfort. Follow these do’s and don’ts to keep your scooter in top condition:
✅ Do:

Charge your batteries for at least 8 hours every night after use, and if possible, the night before use.

Charge your scooter overnight at least once a week when not in use.

Make sure the scooter key is turned off before plugging in the charger.

Ensure the charger is powered off when plugging in or unplugging the scooter.

Keep the scooter well protected from the weather.

Drive slowly through puddles (no deeper than 20mm).

Keep your scooter clean.

Have your scooter serviced regularly.

Maintain the correct tyre pressure (between 20 to 30 psi).

Let us know if you notice any faults developing.

Be sensible and reasonable in what you expect your scooter to do.
❌ Don’t:

Turn the key off while the scooter is moving, except in an emergency.

Lean heavily on the steering column when getting on or off.

Drive fast over rough ground.

Drive fast when going up or down kerbs or bumps.

Overload the scooter with heavy loads or accessories.

Allow anyone unauthorised to repair, adjust, or service your scooter — it could cause damage and void your warranty.

Drive on the beach, in water, or through deep dry sand.

Switch from Freewheeling Mode to Drive Mode while the scooter is still moving.

Rapidly accelerate or brake unless necessary.

Let children play with the scooter unsupervised.

Let someone much heavier than yourself use the scooter (unless it’s designed to take their weight).
